Outreach

Our outreach program is very successful due to the dedication of the volunteers that organize it and of course the quilting energy of our members.

Organizers communicate with the community to determine needs, sort material and prepare kits, organize workshops, collect all finished items and distribute them to the community.  They also sort and store donated materials.  Our community projects include quilts, bibs/aprons, walker bags, placemats, dialysis bags, catheter bags, mastectomy bags/pillows and pillow cases and support community members in Long-term care, the hospital, and various youth and family support services.
